What is Forestry Insights?
Forestry Insights provides insights and recommendations grounded in social science research to empower professionals to more effectively engage with property owners and promote sustainable forestry behaviors.
Who is Forestry Insight for?
Our educational content and workshops are designed to benefit public and private foresters, wildlife biologists, Extension specialists, woodland owner organizations, industry trade groups, nonprofit organizations, and other natural resource professionals.
Forestry Insights is a resource offered by the University of Wisconsin-Extension with support from partners including the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Aldo Leopold Foundation. Initial funding for translating this social science research into actionable training materials and curriculum for professionals was provided by the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation Fund administered by the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
